I’m Rachel, a Pacific Northwest based artist and design leader. I love taking on challenging problems, whether it’s launching new products for companies or planning art trips to remote locations.
I currently work at Amazon as a Senior UX designer where I expand Alexa’s capabilities and ensure people have trustworthy and enjoyable interactions across devices. My work includes product and conversational design, as well as contributing to team growth through mentoring and design planning.
I believe seeking new experiences fuels personal and professional growth. In the last few years I’ve gotten certified as a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician, learned how to design for LLM models, and embraced the fun of cold water surfing. Outside of work I use my talents as a visual artist and storyteller to guide wilderness art retreats and share my travel sketches with others. You can follow along on Instagram @fishercreates.
